We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 8–10 years of proven experience in the construction industry to lead and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project management of construction projects, from feasibility and planning through execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, work schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines in alignment with client and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and control project progress, ensuring adherence to approved plans and schedules.


Budget & Cost Management

  • Prepare detailed project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project expenditures and cash flow, ensuring cost control and timely reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Manage variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with clients and consultants.


Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams including site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities and ensure effective communication across project teams.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and safety-conscious work environment.


Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure client requirements and expectations are clearly understood and met.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports, schedules, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues in a timely and professional manner.


Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contracts, and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality benchmarks are maintained.


Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address technical, contractual, and operational challenges.
  • Manage delays, resource constraints, and unforeseen site conditions effectively.


Procurement & Contract Management

  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements.
  • Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier performance.
  • Review and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.


Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and milestone-based project reports.
  • Ensure proper project close-out documentation and handover to clients and operations teams.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience managing construction projects of varying scale and complexity.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and budgeting expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
