The accountant will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and financial activities for the Restaurant and Gym. The ideal candidate must be analytical, highly organized, and capable of ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across both operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions for both the Restaurant and Gym
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions (SSNIT, PAYE, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with relevant authorities when necessary
- Manage inventory accounting for restaurant supplies and gym-related products
- Monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and financial discrepancies
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to support management decision-making
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve business performance
- Supervise petty cash and daily sales reconciliation
- Support management with financial planning and strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA – Part or Fully Qualified) is an advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years proven accounting experience
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or service industry is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
