Operations & Travel Manager
Job summary
A reputable travel and tourism organization is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations & Travel Manager to oversee travel operations and client services.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Manage flight ticketing (domestic & international reservations).
- Coordinate and process visa applications and travel documentation.
- Design, price, and promote attractive tour packages.
- Liaise with airlines, embassies, hotels, and travel partners.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure excellent customer service.
- Handle travel changes, cancellations, and client inquiries.
- Monitor budgets and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in ticketing, visa processing, and tour management.
- Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent ticketing and reservation management skills.
- Strong knowledge of visa procedures and travel regulations.
- Tour packaging, pricing, and itinerary planning expertise.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking systems (Amadeus, Galileo, etc.).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
