Job Summary
The ideal candidate will manage all maintenance, repairs, and new building projects to ensure the safety of staff and students. He/she will supervise the maintenance team, coordinate with contractors, oversee budgets, and ensure all safety regulations are met. This role is key to keeping the school’s facilities in good condition.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all repair and maintenance activities within the school premises.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and quality control of new facility additions or upgrades.
- Lead a team of maintenance and custodial staff, ensuring high standards of work.
- Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and new construction.
- Provide regular updates to school management on ongoing projects and repairs.
- Support financial planning for facility-related expenses.
Qualifications:
- HND, Bachelor’s preferred.
- Good project management skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Proven experience in facilities management or construction, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Strong supervisory and project management skills.
- Excellent understanding of building maintenance and safety standards.
- Effective communicator and team leader.
