Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee daily cooking of local meals (e.g., fufu, banku, tuo zaafi, waakye, soups, grills, etc.).
- Train, guide, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Manage kitchen inventory and assist with stock ordering.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Work closely with management to plan menus and specials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Cook or Lead Cook in a local restaurant.
- Strong mastery of local Ghanaian dishes and cooking techniques.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, cleanliness, and strong attention to detail.
