Mid-level Accountant (hospitality Industry)

NB: Accommodation Will Be Provided (Cape-Coast)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant with a strong background in the hospitality industry to join our team in Cape Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who is ready to play a key role in managing financial operations in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:

a.   Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly management reports

b.   Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

c.    Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning

d.   Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings

e.   Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors

f.    Assist in cost control and inventory management in line with hospitality operations

g.   Collaborate closely with operations and management teams to drive financial performance

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience in the hospitality industry

Strong understanding of hotel and restaurant financial operations

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
