Finance Manager

Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of Shelter Crest. The role includes managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. The Finance Manager will monitor customer financing portfolio and payment solutions, perform financial analysis, and implement controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This position collaborates closely with operations, product, and senior leadership teams to design pricing models, assess risk, and optimize profitability. The Finance Manager will also support audit activities, improve financial processes, and mentor junior finance staff.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to support a growing FinTech business.
• Experience in financial controls, cash flow management, and risk assessment within financial services or a related sector.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools; familiarity with FinTech or lending platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and best practices in Ghana, particularly in consumer finance and property-related services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, CFA) is a plus.
• Prior experience in a managerial or senior finance role, preferably in FinTech, banking, or consumer lending.
