As our Accountant, you will document all financial transactions, keep the company’s accounts complete and up to date, maintain well-organised financial files and provide reliable information to support management decisions.

Job descriptions & requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recording all financial transactions accurately and promptly
  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date ledgers, journals and accounting records
  • Preparing invoices and receipts and keeping accurate records of payments
  • Reconciling bank, cash and other financial accounts
  • Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records and following up outstanding balances
  • Organising and filing invoices, receipts, vouchers and other supporting documents
  • Preparing regular financial summaries and reports for management
  • Supporting payroll, budgeting, audits and statutory or tax reporting as required


Who we’re looking for

You should have:

  • A relevant accounting qualification or professional training
  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a related finance role
  • A sound understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
  • Confidence using spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Excellent numerical ability and close attention to detail
  • Strong organisational, filing and time-management skills
  • Integrity, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
  • The ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate clearly
  • Experience in the tourism, travel or hospitality sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.
