Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical systems of heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, wiring, batteries, starters, alternators, sensors, and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical and electronic faults.
- Replace and repair defective electrical components and ensure equipment operates safely.
- Maintain service records and comply with company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Technical Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electrical, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, sensors, and diagnostic tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
