Electrician

• Inspect, install, maintain and repair wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, distribution boards and related electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments and carry out repairs within authorised limits.
• Conduct preventive checks on electrical installations, identify hazards and recommend corrective work before failures occur.
• Support maintenance of electrical equipment used in stores, offices, warehouses, restaurants, bakeries and other company facilities.
• Isolate power safely before work, apply lockout/tagout practices where applicable and verify that circuits are safe to work on.
• Document jobs completed, test results, materials used, faults found and outstanding maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with other technicians and approved contractors during installations, renovations and major repairs.
• Keep tools and work areas secure and orderly; report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions immediately.

• Recognised electrical trade certificate, NVTI/CTVET qualification or equivalent technical training.
• Relevant experience in building, commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety, fault-finding, testing instruments and safe isolation procedures.
• Dependable and safety-focused, with good problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple sites when required.
