Job summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver to join our team as an electronic installation technician. You will be installing and maintaining a range of electronic systems, analyzing blueprints and plans, and finding and repairing any malfunctions. To ensure success as an electronic installation technician, you should demonstrate the ability to read and write clearly in English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety codes and regulations, familiarity with alarm principles and experience with a variety of alarm systems.

Responsibilities:
- Making sure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations and best industry practice/standards.
- Installing security and safety alarm systems/equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
- Maintain and document work performed.
- Completing all assignments in a timely manner.
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair any problems
- Completing full installations.
- Travelling occasionally to client locations.
- Reading, understanding, and following product manuals.
- Educating customers on care and maintenance
- Writing service and status reports.
- Analyzing plans.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Testing all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate or technical degree.
- Track record of excellent customer service.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Alarm system experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- A willingness to work after hours and on weekends on short notice.
