Job Title: Micro Insurance Coordinator, miLife Insurance

Reports to: Business Development Manager, Micro Insurance

Job Overview: The Microinsurance Coordinator will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of an assigned channel within the Microinsurance Business Division. The role involves recruiting and maintaining the required manpower, overseeing channel operations, and implementing sales initiatives to achieve business targets. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market reach, enhancing channel productivity, and contributing to the overall success of the microinsurance business.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Identify and recruit microinsurance agents for approved shops or customer experience centers using recommended guidelines.

·        Work with MTN and MML (Mobile Money Ltd) sales teams to grow the number of active MTN and MML agents selling miWay

·        Coordinate product training for agents and external partners/agencies to ensure quality sales.

·        Drive the achievement of weekly/monthly sales targets and continuously improve agent productivity.

·        Conduct weekly channel meetings with teams to track performance and address challenges.

·        Foster a strong and results-driven sales culture within the team.

·        Ensure all team members meet quality assurance targets and maintain compliance with set standards.

·        Support the implementation of effective and cost-efficient marketing campaigns.

·        Liaising with MTN & MML to strengthen the collaboration and enhance the effectiveness of our partnership

·        Provide timely and accurate weekly reports to management.

Qualifications & Competencies:

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.

·        4+ years of experience in microinsurance sales and channel management.

·        Previous experience working with a telecommunications company will be an added advantage.
