Role: Classroom Facilitator
Duration: 3 months
Start/End Date: 7.09.2026- 8.12.2026
Type: Intensive, paid internship
Remuneration: GHS 1000/month
Location: Ghana
Focus: Climate education, green skills, biodiversity, circular economy and project-based learning
Educational qualification
- Undergraduate students, recent graduates or early-career professionals in Education, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Sustainability, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Resources, or related fields.
- Applicants from other disciplines with demonstrated experience or strong interest in environmental education and youth engagement are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children or young people is an advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate interactive, age-appropriate lessons from the curriculum developed for the 'Butterfly Effect Project'.
- Support students through project-based learning activities, experiments, games and outdoor learning.
- Help students connect climate and environmental issues to their local communities.
- Facilitate activities on biodiversity, circular economy and green entrepreneurship.
- Support students to develop practical environmental solutions and projects.
- Create an inclusive and safe learning environment where every student can participate.
- Document activities, student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, programme staff and other facilitators.
- Participate in facilitator training, reflection sessions and programme evaluation.
