Job summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s building materials and FMGS to customers, maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring timely collection of payments. The role involves achieving sales targets, following up on customer balances, and contributing to the growth of the company.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell the company’s building materials and FMGS to existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify new customers, projects, and business opportunities to increase sales.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales reports when required.
  • Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
  • Visit customers, and distributors regularly to market company products.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets set by management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer accounts, and transactions.
  • Submit regular reports to management on sales performance and customer feedback.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous sales experience in the building materials or FMGS industry is an advantage.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Strong customer relationship and follow-up skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and report writing skills.
  • Honest, disciplined, and self-motivated.


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to travel and customer visits may be required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.

  • Achievement of sales targets.
  • Timely collection of customer payments.
  • Growth in customer base and sales revenue.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Accuracy and timely submission of reports.
