We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to provide quality mathematics instruction and support students in developing strong mathematical knowledge, problem solving skills, and confidence in the subject.

Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Salary Range:2,500-4,000 cedis

Location: Spintex

Working Time: 8am-2pm

Grade Level: Grade 3 up to Senior High School

Role Description

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective mathematics lessons based on the learning needs and grade level of the students. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment, assessing students' understanding and providing appropriate academic support.

Job Description

• Plan and deliver well structured mathematics lessons.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Prepare lesson plans, exercises, learning materials, tests, and assessments.
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress.
• Identify areas where students require additional support.
• Encourage problem solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning abilities and needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain accurate records of students' performance and progress.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' academic development when required.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in relevant meetings, activities, and educational programmes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Patience and the ability to work effectively with students.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism.
• A genuine interest in supporting students' academic development.
