About FORIVON

FORIVON is a growing waste collection and sanitation business serving households, offices, shops, restaurants and other organisations within Accra.

We are looking for a motivated tertiary/university student who wants to earn an income while gaining practical experience in sales, business development, customer engagement and client acquisition.

This is a field-oriented role. The successful applicant must have three full days available each week to actively prospect for and engage potential FORIVON clients.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is specifically for tertiary/university student.

You should:

• Be currently enrolled in a university, college or other recognised tertiary institution.
• Have at least 3 full days available each week without lectures or other school commitments.
• Preferably live around Legon, 37, Airport, La, Achimota, Dzorwulu, Abelemkpe, Tesano or nearby areas.
• Be confident approaching and speaking with new people.
• Be willing to conduct physical visits to businesses and potential clients.
• Be proactive, responsible and comfortable working independently.  
• Be interested in gaining practical experience in business development, sales, marketing or entrepreneurship.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibility will be to help FORIVON find and acquire new recurring waste collection clients.

You will:

• Identify potential clients within assigned areas, including offices, shops, restaurants, apartments, households, schools and other organisations.
• Visit potential clients physically and introduce FORIVON's waste collection services.
• Help convert prospects into paying customers.
• Maintain records of businesses and individuals contacted.
• Provide a simple weekly report covering visits, leads, quotations, follow-ups and clients acquired.
• Follow up with newly acquired clients to help maintain a good customer relationship.
• Carry out other reasonable business development and client-support activities related to the role.

What Success Looks Like

This is a client acquisition role, so performance will not be measured simply by showing up for work.

We will look at the number and quality of prospects contacted, physical client visits completed, qualified leads generated, quotations followed up, new clients acquired and, importantly, the number of recurring paying clients brought to FORIVON.

Students who are willing to actively go out, speak to businesses and follow up consistently will be best suited for this opportunity.

Working Arrangement

The successful applicant must commit to 3 FULL working days per week.

The three days should preferably be days when the applicant does not have lectures or significant academic commitments. The agreed working days should remain reasonably consistent so that field activities can be properly planned.

FORIVON will, however, try to structure the role so that it can be combined reasonably with the applicant's academic schedule.
