Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting function.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Maintain effective relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, investors, and funding partners.
- Lead project finance structuring and funding arrangements for company projects.
- Identify, coordinate, and support local and international financing opportunities for projects and investments.
- Lead in debt and equity financing transactions and related financial documentation.
- Conduct financial analysis, business case evaluations, and feasibility studies for projects and investment opportunities.
- Provide financial support in evaluating strategic business opportunities and investment proposals.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax requirements, statutory obligations, and financial reporting standards.
- Monitor company expenditures, profitability, and overall financial performance, providing timely management reports.
- Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and reporting systems.
- Support management in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, cost management, and operational performance.
- Supervise and provide guidance to finance staff to ensure effective execution of finance functions.
