Job summary
Stock Handler is a warehouse specific role. He works with Warehouse Manager. His primary focus remains on accuracy in retrieval and put away of stock during outward and inward movement. He is also responsible for physical upkeeping of stocks in the warehouse.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere warehouse operations SOPs.
- Do prompt and accurate retrieval of stock for outwards stock movement.
- Ensure FEFO while retrieval.
- Ensure correct and accurate stacking and palletization in storage.
- Identify and segregate damage and expire stock from good stocks.
- Ensure careful usage of material handling equipment (HPT).
- Restack and relocate any stack which may fall down.
- Ensure no handling damages during internal stock movement.
- Maintain good cleaning and housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Ensure periodic cleaning and dusting of slow moving and non-moving stocks.
- Take work instructions from Warehouse Manager / Officer and act upon them.
- Perform duty and task assigned by Warehouse Manager and Officer.
- Notify and escalate any abnormal and suspicious activity seen in the warehouse.
- Endeavor to learn new and added skills.

- Schooling / Basic reading and writing
