Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:

As Procurement Officer(Procurement & Supply Chain), you will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities central to the company’s success. These include, but are not limited to:

Procurement & Sourcing

• Source suppliers and obtaining quotations for client requests.
• Source and procure quality products and services in line with company requirements.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Support preparation and submission of tender and bid documents for client companies.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement processes from requisition to delivery.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods to clients.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and distributors regarding shipments and product availability.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Assist in tracking deliveries, shipment schedules, and inventory records.
• Coordinate logistics for distribution and deliveries.

Tender Preparation

• Preparing technical and financial procurement information for tender submissions.
• Source quotations and documentation required for tender participation.
• Support the preparation of pricing schedules, product specifications, and compliance documentation for tenders.
• Ensure tender documents are accurate and submitted within deadlines.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract files.
• Prepare procurement reports and updates for management.
• Work closely with the team to meet client and tender deadlines.
• Introduce Excelsior Global to prospective client companies.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain operations.
• Prepare procurement reports and updates for management.
• Work closely with the team to meet client and tender deadlines.
• Introduce Excelsior Global to prospective client companies.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
• Experience in preparing tender and bid documents, including pricing schedules, quotations, and compliance documentation, will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
