Job summary
JD Fruit & Juice Company is seeking 30 hardworking, reliable, and dedicated Factory Operatives to support its expanding fruit juice production operations at Spintex, Accra. Successful candidates will assist with fruit preparation, juice processing, packaging, sanitation, and material handling to ensure smooth, efficient factory operations. The role requires individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and product quality. Training will be provided across different areas of the production process, making this opportunity suitable for candidates who are willing to learn and develop practical manufacturing skills.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Wash, sort, peel, and chop fresh fruit to prepare it for juice processing.
- Assist in operating juice production equipment, including blenders, fruit presses, and pasteurisation machines.
- Fill, seal, label, and package juice bottles and cartons according to production requirements
- Ensure finished products are properly packaged and handled to maintain quality.
- Clean and sterilise production equipment, machinery, and workstations daily.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the production facility.
- Assist with moving crates, handling production materials, and organising stock.
- Support loading activities and preparation of finished products for delivery.
- Follow production instructions and work collaboratively with other factory staff.
- Adhere to established food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
- Assist with other production-related duties assigned by supervisors.
- SHS certificate or basic education preferred.
- Previous experience in factory operations, food processing, or manufacturing is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to personal hygiene and food safety standards.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move light-to-moderate loads.
- Willingness to learn and operate different production equipment under supervision.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
