Job summary
Hotel Stevens Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and ensure an excellent dining experience for every guest. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high service standards, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Supervise, coordinate, and motivate restaurant staff while promoting teamwork and professionalism.
- Monitor customer service standards and respond promptly to guest feedback or concerns.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, task allocation, and day-to-day performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace standards.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with procurement, and help minimize wastage and operational losses.
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain consistent food and service quality.
- Support sales and revenue growth through effective service management and promotional initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate key issues, opportunities, and recommendations to management.
- Train and coach staff to improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Minimum HND or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in the hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or service industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively and maintain high operational standards.
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to handle complaints professionally.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
