Job Responsibilities
As a assay technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform fire assay and XRF testing on incoming gold samples.
- Prepare and sign official SGS assay certificates.
- Maintain lab equipment and calibration logs.
- Ensure zero contamination and full traceability.
- Train junior staff on assay procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or related field.
- 1+ year experience in fire assay or mineral testing.
- Familiar with ISO 17025 lab standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
