Volunteer Opportunity: Join the “Left Behind in the Flood” Campaign

Organization: Theraphixafrica (In partnership with Federation FALAS – Ghana)

Location: Remote & On-ground (Ghana-based preferred, but open to Africa-based youth)

Type: Volunteer (Unpaid)

Commitment: ~2 hours/week until June 2026

At Theraphixafrica, we believe no one should be left behind—not in the flood, and not in the future.

We're launching a youth-led campaign titled “Left Behind in the Flood” to explore and address the impact of climate change on persons with mobility disabilities in vulnerable communities. In collaboration with the Federation of African Law Students – Ghana, we are calling for passionate volunteers to support this vital initiative.

Who We're Looking For:

Youth (ages 16–30) who are:

• Passionate about disability rights, climate change, and community advocacy
• Skilled in outreach, social media, research, storytelling, or community organizing
• Committed to inclusion, equity, and collaboration
• Available to dedicate approximately 2 hours/week

This is an unpaid volunteer role, but your contribution will directly impact lives, policy, and awareness across Africa.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Supporting outreach and engagement
• Contributing to research and data collection
• Amplifying stories via digital platforms
• Collaborating with advocacy and legal partners
• Helping map out solutions for inclusive climate resilience
