Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes as per the menu and customer preferences.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain quality and consistency.
- Ensure the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and maintained in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene and organization in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist with food prep for the day-to-day operation and for special orders or catering events.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers for timely food delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Cook in a restaurant or eatery.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and deliver consistent quality meals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Certificate in Catering or Hospitality is an added advantage.
- Must reside in or around Tema.
