Job Summary
A skilled and detail-oriented Baker responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. This role involves following recipes, managing baking schedules, ensuring freshness, and contributing to product creativity. The ideal candidate works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintains cleanliness, and supports daily production to meet customer demand.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, mix, and bake our five core cookie flavors according to standardized recipes and procedures
- Measure and scale ingredients accurately to maintain consistent taste and texture
- Operate bakery equipment such as stand mixers, ovens, scoops, timers, and cooling racks
- Portion, shape, and bake cookie dough with precision
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace at all times
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FDA/foods safety guidelines)
- Assist with inventory tracking: ingredients, packaging, and bakery supplies
- Package cookies neatly for delivery or pickup
- Assist in daily production planning to meet order volumes
- Report equipment issues, ingredient shortages, or quality concerns promptly
- Support new product testing or seasonal flavor development when needed
Qualifications
- Strong math skills. Comfortable with fractions and proportions
- Experience in baking or kitchen production strongly preferred (professional or home baking experience acceptable if skill level is strong)
- Ability to follow recipes with accuracy and consistency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-heat environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (bags of flour, trays, ingredients)
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Work Schedule: 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Saturday
Salary: 3,000 ghs per month
Note: Ideally the candidate lives within 30 minutes from Ogbojo. Also recommended they have possession of a smartphone to assist with quick calculation of measurements.
