Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare balanced, nutritious meals based on dietary preferences and health needs.
- Ensure meals are cooked and presented to a high standard.
- Serve and plate meals in a professional manner.
- Shop for groceries and food items, ensuring high-quality ingredients are selected.
- Maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies and food items, ensuring freshness and timely restocking.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
- Create a weekly or monthly meal plan in consultation with the executive to accommodate their schedule and nutritional goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably with a focus on healthy, nutritional meals.
- Strong understanding of dietary needs, food allergies, and nutrition.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Strong organizational skills for kitchen management and food stocking.
- Ability to shop for quality ingredients and maintain an organized inventory.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to adapt to dietary changes or special requests.
