Position: Documentation Officer
Location: Sakumono
Employment Type: Full-time
Our client, a reputable international trading company operating within the agricultural commodities sector, is seeking to recruit a competent and detail-oriented Documentation Officer to join its operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage export and shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, clearing agents, shipping lines, and internal teams to facilitate smooth shipment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipment and export documentation.
- Monitor documentation timelines to ensure shipments are processed efficiently and without delays.
- Support internal audits and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Perform other administrative and documentation-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar documentation, logistics, or export operations role.
- Strong understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
