Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Assist in developing job descriptions and interview questions that align with the organizations needs and culture.
- Support hiring managers in the selection process by providing guidance and recommendations.
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and disciplinary issues, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance appraisals, and development plans.
- Assist managers in identifying and addressing performance-related issues.
- Maintain accurate performance records and ensure timely completion of performance evaluations.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR-related reports, such as attendance, turnover, and training.
- Assist in administering employee benefits and leave management programs.
- Support the HR team in organizing training sessions, workshops, and other HR-related events.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years’ proven experience in performance management and training
- Proven experience working as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using HR software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification in HR management (e.g. CHRMP, SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
