Job Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner (Senior HRBP) plays a strategic leadership role within the Associate Program, providing support to HRBPs, HR Associates, Data Analysts, and other roles in Nigeria & Ghana. This role is responsible for reviewing HR communications and documentation, ensuring consistent HR service delivery, and addressing escalated issues from Employer Partners and Associates. The Senior HRBP ensures operational excellence, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction while upholding the values and objectives of the program.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to HRBPs and HR Associates in the execution of all HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and Associate relations.
- Review HR-related emails, reports, and documentation prepared by HRBPs and Associates to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Manage and monitor the end-to-end recruitment process led by HRBPs and Associates, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder needs are met.
- Address and resolve complex or escalated issues from employer partners and Associates with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are implemented effectively across all external stakeholders and in line with local labor laws.
- Monitor Associate compliance with mandatory training, development programs, certifications, and performanc expectations.
- Investigate Associate grievances or complaints and escalate unresolved or sensitive matters to the Program Coordinator.
- Oversee accurate maintenance of digital and physical records for Associates and Employer Partners.
- Lead and support disciplinary processes, terminations, and exit interviews while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Represent the HR function in meetings with the Project Steering Committee and key partners.
- Compile and present stakeholder reports, data insights, and progress updates on key HR initiatives and KPIs.

Key requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, or related courses.
- Certification in CIPM-related certifications in Human Resources
- Proven work experience with at least 7-8 years in Human Resources
- Experience coordinating projects
- Experience supervising/managing a team of at least 3-5
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization performance, development, HR administration, and employee relations.
- Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software.
