ABOUT AITK ROBOTICS
AITK Robotics provides an all in one high quality STEM Education through hands-on robotics, coding, AI, and drone technology programs. We partner with schools and communities across Ghana to provide access to world-class STEM education.
THE ROLE - STEM FACILITATOR
We're seeking a passionate educator to lead and facilitate STEM training sessions for students, delivering hands-on learning experiences in robotics, coding, drone technology, virtual reality, IOT and other modern technology.
This role is perfect for someone who:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STEM Instruction & Program Delivery (Primary Focus)
Program Delivery:
- Lead and facilitate STEM training sessions for students
- Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in robotics, coding, and technology
- Manage classroom dynamics with groups of 20-40 students
- Provide individualized support to students with varying skill levels
- Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Saturday Club Leadership:
- Facilitate AITK Robotics Saturday Club (weekly 3-hour sessions)
- Prepare lesson materials and set up equipment
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and management
- Build positive relationships with students and families
School Partnership Support:
- Deliver in-school STEM programs and demonstrations
- Conduct vacation bootcamps and intensive workshops
- Represent AITK professionally at schools and community events
Student Support & Mentorship
- Build positive relationships with students and parents
- Provide encouragement and celebrate student achievements
- Mentor students through project challenges
- Communicate progress and feedback to parents
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Operations Support
- Set up and maintain equipment for sessions
- Conduct equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
- Track attendance and student progress
- Maintain organized learning spaces
- Support event logistics for showcases and graduations
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Diploma in Education, Computer Science, Designing, or equivalent in related field
- Recent graduates welcome to apply
- Relevant certifications in STEM education are a plus
Experience & Passion
- Experience or passion in teaching and handling kids
- Formal teaching experience preferred but not required
- Volunteer work with youth programs counts
- Tutoring, mentoring, or coaching experience valued
- Genuine love for working with children essential
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Professional demeanor with students, parents, and partners
- Active listening and empathy
- Conflict resolution abilities
- Fluent in Twi or other Ghanaian languages (preferred not required)
Learning & Adaptability
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching methods
- Growth mindset and eagerness to develop new skills
- Comfortable learning robotics, coding, and STEM tools
- Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
- Flexibility in fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of robotics, coding, and STEM-related programs is a plus

Location
- Must reside in Kumasi or surrounding areas (within an hour commute)
- Willing to work Saturdays (Saturday Club is our flagship program)
