A reputable school is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Human Resource Officer to manage and support all HR functions within the school community.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction of teaching and non-teaching staff
- Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, and personnel files
- Oversee staff attendance, leave, appraisal, and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, school policies, and best HR practices
- Handle staff welfare, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally
- Support school leadership with HR planning, training, and staff development
- Promote a positive, ethical, and collaborative work culture
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD, IHRMP, SHRM) will be an added advantage
- At least 3–5 years’ relevant HR experience (school or educational setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Law
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
