Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s human resources systems while overseeing administrative operations that support business efficiency. This role combines HR leadership (recruitment, performance, payroll, compliance) with administrative management (facility oversight, procurement support, office services, record-keeping). The ideal candidate will be hands-on, cost-conscious, and capable of building structured processes in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems & Policies
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and revise the existing Employee Handbook.
- Establish processes for recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance appraisal and exit interviews.
Talent Management & Employee Relations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for junior to senior-level staff.
- Drive talent management and workforce planning, including succession planning and retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Build staff engagement programs to boost morale and retention.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, resolving issues fairly and in line with company policies.
Performance & Development
- Develop and implement a performance management system linked to KPIs that supports staff development, accountability and rewards.
- Identify staff training and development opportunities.
- Support line managers in coaching and performance feedback.
HR Records & Compliance
- Maintain updated employee records (digital and hardcopy).
- Track and report on leave, absenteeism, turnover and disciplinary cases.
- Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act and relevant employment laws.
Administration Management
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the office and manufacturing facility.
- Supervise support staff (drivers, cleaners, security, reception, etc.).
- Ensure smooth running of company logistics, transport and office supplies.
- Manage vendor relationships for office and factory administrative needs (utilities, stationery, service contracts).
- Coordinate company meetings, training sessions and staff events.
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure confidentiality of company documents.
Reporting & Advisory
- Provide monthly HR & Administration reports to Management.
- Advise management on HR, compliance and administrative risks and opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in setting up HR processes from scratch.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office, digital HR tools/ systems and administrative process improvement
