Job Description/Requirements
To provide leadership in the planning, development and implementation of organizational development programs to drive performance improvement to meet the evolving needs of the business. .
To contribute, as part of the HR Management Team, to the development and implementation of the overall HR Strategy.
- Engage with line managers to identify where their capabilities and those of their teams can be improved to enhance business strategy execution.
- Develop and gain approval for the business strategic training plan and budget, monitor and review all programs to ensure budget compliance. Identify areas for cost saving and quality improvement areas.
- Evaluate and report on the success of training programs through periodic impact assessment of the programs.
- Contribute to the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of training programs through periodic impact program updates, curriculum development as well as ROI analysis.
- Develop preferred supplier relationships with reputable training houses to provide cost effective programs for all levels of employees in order to have a demonstrable business impact.
- Engage with Management in identifying high potential employees and managing them to create a Talent pool for future vacancies within the BU.
- Manage industrial attachment and National Service recruitment procedures in line with Company policies and budgets.
- Ensure successful completion of on-boarding and induction for new hires.
- Act as the main HR Liaison for Commercial & Marketing departments and align with key partners on their people strategy for implementation. Manage all HR related issues.
- Ensure Quality, Environmental & Occupational Safety and Health (QEOSH) and Food Safety Compliance on site.
- Ensure employees’ alignment to the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Core Value through periodic focus group discussions and weekly extracts via email.
- Any other duties or projects that may be assigned by the HR Manager
EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SPECIFIC TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or Social Science
- Master’s Degree in HR Management
- Professional qualification in HR Practice from a recognized Human Resource Professional Body
AREAS OF EXPERTISE AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Five years Learning & Development experience ideally gained in a Commercial or Manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, analytical skills, influence skills, and strong verbal and written communication.
