Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations within our security firm. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing field operations, coordinating security personnel, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality security services to our clients. The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing operational procedures, maintaining client satisfaction, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supervising a team of security officers and supervisors. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to respond swiftly and effectively to operational challenges.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement security policies, specific post orders and procedures for guards.
  • Communicate effectively to all staffs under your command and same to and from management.
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
  • Recruit, train and supervise security supervisors and Site supervisors.
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Coordinate security operations at the various regions and keep the Managing Director updated on operational issues on daily bases through the least available electronic channel.
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Create reports for management on security status
  • Visit at least all the locations in Accra every two weeks, other regions as and when the need arises to get first-hand information from the guards.
  • Takes responsibility of ensuring that fuel allocation for operational team is effectively and efficiently managed.
  • Read, review, sign and address the operational report in the control Room on daily bases.
  • Line manage all controllers by ensuring to understand their duties and delivering accordingly.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Accounts to ensure that, deployment for new contracts is done on time whiles payment for staffs under your command’s salary duly checked before payment.
