Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive growth and expand our footprint in the residential villas, apartments, commercial and industrial construction sector be it low or high rise. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead strategies that deliver revenue growth.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships to secure profitable contracts and projects.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, driving opportunities from initial prospecting through to negotiation and deal closure). approved tenderer.
- Develop compelling proposals and bids, ensuring financial viability, technical soundness, and operational feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and finance teams to align proposals with the company’s delivery capacity and client expectations).
- Continuously monitor competitor activities, industry shifts, and market trends to provide actionable insights for strategic positioning.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
- Build, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.
- Align business development initiatives with project execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of secured contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and revenue performance.
- Develop company business strategy and policies
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are a requirement.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, trends, and contract structures.
- Proven ability to originate, negotiate, and close large-scale projects or partnerships.
- Proven ability to tender high-value tender processes in Ghana
- Strong financial and technical acumen for evaluating project viability.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Exceptional networking and relationship management abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years’ proven experience in business development within the construction sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and property development economics.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value contracts or project deals
- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- An established industry network across Private developers, investors, consultants, and government agencies is highly desirable.
- Ability to influence and drive a positive work culture.
