General Manager – Technical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership across WTS’s engineering operations.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept, design, and specification through execution and commissioning.
• Lead project planning, technical evaluations, budgeting, and execution control.
• Provide technical oversight for industrial systems, plant solutions, and equipment installations.
• Build and manage high-performing engineering and technical teams.
• Lead technical engagement with European OEM partners, suppliers, and key clients.
• Manage procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with quality and cost requirements.
• Support business development with technical input, solution design, and high-level client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.
• Report on technical performance, project delivery, and operational efficiency to executive management

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
• Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• 8+ years’ experience in engineering leadership, technical operations, or project management.
• Strong exposure to industrial engineering systems, plant solutions, or technical services.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and work with international partners.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management is highly desirable
