Job summary
The core mission is to secure non-dilutive capital to fuel company growth or specific projects. Fearless Fund Microfinance Fund is designed to support women of color entrepreneurs by offering innovative and culturally responsive services, including small, high-impact microfinance loans to underserved women entrepreneurs. Our purpose is to be central to closing the global wealth gap.

Key Responsibilities
- Writing a compelling story that explains the problem and how the company’s solution will solve it.
- Collaborating with the finance team to create a line-item budget that proves the money will be spent efficiently.
- Collecting letters of support, testimonials, and data to prove the company has a track record of success.
- Ensuring the project stays within the "legal guardrails" set by the funder
- Keeping meticulous receipts and records.
- Writing periodic progress reports to tell the funder exactly how many people were helped or what milestones were hit.
- Maintaining a "human" connection with the grant officer. This involves sending thank-you notes, invitations to company events, and early 8. warnings if a project is hitting a snag.
- Proving the company was a "good investment" so the funder is likely to give again next year.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, International Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years in grant management, venture capital, or impact investing, specifically within the African market.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Ghanaian business landscape, including regulatory requirements (TIN, RGD) and FMCG trends.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking and technical writing skills; ability to represent the "Fearless" brand with authority and empathy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot) and grant management software (Submittable, WizeHive)
