Job summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Event & Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, event planning and execution across our venues and services. This role is ideal for a professional who can bring in business, design exceptional event experiences and ensure flawless execution.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Actively source and secure high-value event clients (corporate and social)
  • Drive bookings for both event centers (Tse Addo & Tema)
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships

Event Planning & Concept Development

  • Consult with clients to understand their vision and requirements
  • Develop event concepts, proposals and budgets
  • Create detailed event plans and timelines

Design Oversight

  • Guide event themes, layouts and overall aesthetic direction
  • Ensure all events align with Unique Florals’ premium brand standards

Event Execution & Coordination

  • Oversee event setup, execution and breakdown
  • Coordinate vendors, staff and logistics
  • Ensure seamless event-day operations

Venue & Operations Management

  • Manage bookings and scheduling across both venues
  • Ensure venues are maintained to high operational standards
  • Oversee efficient use of rental inventory

Reporting

  • Provide regular reports to management, including weekly post-event reports and monthly revenue and cost breakdowns

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

  • Generate a minimum of GHS 300,000+ in monthly event revenue
  • Secure 2–4 high-value events per month
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction and repeat business
  • Consistently upsell décor, floral and rental services


Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in event planning, management, or a related field
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
  • Strong understanding of event design and execution
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events


Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
  • Commission based on Monthly target achieved
