The Fundraising & Partnerships Officer is responsible for mobilizing financial and strategic resources to support the sustainability, growth, and impact of the organization. The role leads institutional fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic partnerships to ensure diversified, predictable, and values-aligned funding for programmes supporting street- connected girls and young mothers.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
- Develop and implement the organization’s fundraising and partnerships strategy in line with the Strategic Plan.
- Identify, research, and pursue funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, embassies, corporate/CSR partners, and philanthropies.
- Coordinate proposal development, including concept notes, full proposals, budgets (with Finance), and supporting documentation.
- Maintain an active 12–24-month fundraising pipeline.
- Support the mobilisation of unrestricted and core funding.
Donor Management & Compliance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors.
- Coordinate donor communications, reporting schedules, and compliance requirements.
- Support donor visits, reviews, and learning events.
- Ensure timely and high-quality narrative inputs for donor reports in collaboration with program and MEL teams.
Partnerships Development
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with NGOs/CSOs, government institutions, private sector actors, and networks.
- Support consortium building and joint funding applications.
- Ensure partnerships align with the organization’s mission, values, safeguarding standards, and strategic priorities.
Internal Coordination & Systems
- Work closely with program teams to align funding opportunities with program priorities.
- Collaborate with Finance and MEL to strengthen budgets, results frameworks, and evidence of impact.
- Support internal systems for donor tracking, documentation, and relationship management
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in fundraising, partnerships, or resource mobilization in the NGO/non-profit sector.
- Proven experience in proposal development and donor engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and manage professional relationships.
- Experience working with institutional or international donors.
- Knowledge of the Ghanaian NGO and donor landscape.
- Experience working on issues related to child protection, gender, or social
