Job summary
The Head of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across the institution's day-to-day banking and branch activities. The role will ensure efficient service delivery, strong operational controls, excellent customer experience, and consistent implementation of approved policies and procedures.

- Oversee the daily operations of branches and banking service functions.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure branches comply with approved policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor customer service standards and address operational complaints and challenges.
- Review operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of banking services.
- Monitor branch operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Prepare regular operational performance reports for senior management.
- Support business expansion and the implementation of new operational initiatives.
- Ensure staff are adequately trained on operational procedures and service standards.
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional banking qualifications will be an advantage.
- 5–7 years' relevant banking or microfinance experience, including management experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of banking operations, internal controls, and customer service.
- High ethical standards and unquestionable integrity.
