Activations & Promotions Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute consumer promotion budgets for Brand Activation initiatives
• Focus on developing promotional programs that attract business from wholesalers, distributors and retailers
• Recommend and develop local market promotions to promote sales
• Managing Product Placement in terms of planogram, promotional projects, merchandizing, communication for key accounts or special projects
• Development and execution of trade consumer promotions including pricing, sales estimates, operations liaison and POS development and deployment
• Provide feedback to management on activations, new product launches or re-launch initiatives
• Assist line manager to flawlessly execute launches to gain maximum distribution
• Proactively communication and build relationships with the project teams
• Collect and disseminate Best Practice for profitable Trade Marketing activities
• Work closely with sales team to ensure trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets
• Work to develop trade communications - traditional and digital

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing or Related qualification with minimum 3 years’ experience in a Trade Marketing or Activations
• Experience in a relevant industry preferably, household goods or fast-moving consumer- goods (FMCG)
• Analytical - ability to analyze data and recommend
• Top rate commercial acumen
• Strong knowledge of Target Area for projects
• Team Management Skills: Harmonization and rationalization
• Experience analyzing and identifying trends to plan against results
• Prior experience with complex project management tasks
• Passion for art (at minimum an interest in art)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work at odd hours
