Microfinance Field Officer

• Demonstrate effectiveness in group formation, nurturing, and training of microfinance clients.
• Ensure efficiency in loan processing and appraisal in line with the Bank’s credit policies.
• Ensure timely and efficient loan disbursement to approved individuals and groups.
• Demonstrate effectiveness in loan recovery and management of delinquent accounts.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and effective reporting of field activities and loan performance.
• Maintain efficient and proper documentation and record keeping, including KYC and loan records.
• Demonstrate effectiveness in managing group dynamics and building group serenity, discipline, and cohesion.
• Conduct regular loan monitoring to ensure proper utilization of funds and compliance with loan terms.
• Mobilize savings and deposits from individuals and groups within assigned communities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, group executives, and community leaders.
• Promptly report any operational, credit, or fraud-related issues to Management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

• HND preferably in Accounting or a related field from a recognized institution
• At least one (1) year working experience.
• Ability to ride a motorbike is a basic requirement for this role
• Willingness to work in rural and peri-urban communities
• High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
