Job Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Head of US Loan Program & Market Development to take full ownership of launching, managing, and promoting our US loan products. This critical role requires a strategic thinker who can define the market opportunity, establish operational excellence, and drive aggressive growth. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of building a program from the ground up, navigating the US lending regulatory environment, and executing effective market entry strategies.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Program Leadership
- Define the overall strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plan for our US loan program, including target audience, product positioning, and competitive analysis.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for program success (e.g., origination volume, credit quality, market share, profitability) and drive performance against these metrics.
- Manage the full program P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Market Development & Promotion
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and distribution channels to maximize loan origination volume.
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing and sales strategies (digital, direct, partnership) to drive program awareness and loan applications.
- Engage with potential partners, industry groups, and investors.
- Conduct continuous market research to identify emerging trends, borrower needs, and competitor strategies to ensure our offering remains highly competitive.
Operations & Product Execution
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and prioritize feature enhancements and build scalable technology for loan servicing and underwriting.
- Establish and continually optimize the end-to-end loan process, from application to funding and servicing, focusing on efficiency, user experience, and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with the Risk/Credit team to ensure prudent lending criteria are applied and monitored effectively across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial services, specifically within lending, credit, or FinTech, with a focus on the US market.
- Proven track record of successfully launching, scaling, and managing a loan program or financial product.
- Deep understanding of the US lending regulatory landscape (e.g., Truth in Lending Act, state licensing requirements, fair lending laws).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market entry and growth strategies.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing a budget/P&L.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of presenting complex strategies to executive leadership and external partners.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Salary Range: GHC4500 - GHC5000
