The Charity Manager will oversee the strategic and operational management of the Foundation. This includes ensuring that the organization’s mission to support community development, empowerment, and sustainability is achieved. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving fundraising initiatives, managing projects, building partnerships, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the Foundation’s strategic plan in alignment with its goals and mission.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the Foundation’s projects, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Report to the Board of Trustees on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Fundraising and Partnerships:
- Create and execute innovative fundraising strategies to secure funds for the Foundation’s activities, including but not limited to grants.
- Build and nurture relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making bodies.
- Write compelling grant proposals and manage donor reporting requirements.
Project and Program Management:
- Plan, manage, and deliver charitable programs and events, ensuring they align with the Foundation’s goals.
- Oversee the implementation of community outreach projects, including monitoring budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to amplify the Foundation’s impact.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure the Foundation operates in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, including financial reports and donor communications.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective management of the charity.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of staff and volunteers to deliver on objectives.
- Coordinate training and development opportunities for the team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in charity management, fundraising, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of grant writing and donor relationship management.
- Experience in leading teams and managing community development projects.

- Financial literacy and experience managing budgets.
