Job Summary

An international sports betting company operating in Ghana is looking for an Admin and Compliance Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance with the Ghanaian Government Laws and Regulations. The candidate needs to ensure the company complies with the country’s regulatory and license requirements as well as all internal policies. Additionally, the person will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the senior stakeholders. This includes organizing company records, overseeing department budgets, annual tax returns, maintaining inventory of office supplies, etc...

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Master compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the company
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure the company operates in accordance with the laws and regulations.
  • Develop and track compliance metrics report back to management on current risk and compliance performance
  • Remain up to date with the Country Laws and constantly review the compliance policies
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations
  • Educate and communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what needs to be done to comply with internal policies and external laws
  • Consult with a corporate attorney to resolve the compliance issues
  • Resolve employee’s concerns over legal matters
  • Collaborate with external auditors and Management when needed
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
  • Review marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests
  • Managing office supplies stock and placing orders
  • Preparing regular financial and administrative reports
  • Administration of company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Assisting the management with job postings and interviews
  • Ad-hoc requirements by the business as needed


Requirements & Skills

  • Prior experience as an Office Admin and Compliance Officer or a similar role
  • Very focused and eye for details to identify and correct risky practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely, independently and as part of a team
  • Great interpersonal, Organizational, Time Management and presentation skills
  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
  • Minimum Qualification: Degree/HND in related Course
  • 4 Experience years.
  • Working Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week


Duration: Full-Time

Locations: Accra

Salary: Negotiable
