The Training Programme Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the tripartite EV Infrastructure Training Programme, a landmark initiative delivered in partnership with Electricity Company of Ghana, Pentecost University, and key Chinese technology partners ZDWL and GTEE. A strong understanding of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Ecosystem and Government related Policies are not merely an advantage—it is essential for the success of this role. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take full ownership of the project's success, overseeing the transition from the signed agreement to the official launch in November 2026 and beyond. You will be the central coordination point between ECG, the university partner, international vendors, and the investor, ensuring all milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Mobilization & Governance:
  • Act as the secretariat and lead coordinator for the Tripartite Working Group (TWG), scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
  • Drive the finalization and approval of the TWG's Terms of Reference (ToR).
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between ECG, Pentecost University, Alveus, and the Chinese partners (ZDWL/GTEE).
  • Report directly to the MD on project status, risks, and achievements.

Implementation & Timeline Management:
  • Take full responsibility for executing the project roadmap as outlined in the Gantt chart, from the 10 March kick-off to the November launch.
  • Manage and track critical path activities, including:
  • Accreditation: Liaising with Pentecost University to ensure timely submission andapproval of the programme accreditation by 30 April 2026.
  • Procurement: Coordinating with Alveus on the equipment procurement timeline, from planning (May-June 2026) to shipment and delivery tracking (July-August 2026).
  • Infrastructure: Overseeing ECG's site readiness checks and the preparation of the Tema Training School for equipment installation (by July 2026).

Financial & Compliance Oversight:
  • Work with the finance team to facilitate the funding activation process and financial account setup by the 30 April 2026 deadline.
  • Assist in finalizing the EU Grant application and submission by 30 June 2026.
  • Monitor project expenditure against the budget, ensuring compliance with investor funding agreements and joint financial reporting templates.
  • Track compliance with legal agreements regarding IP, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Stakeholder & Communication Management:
  • Develop and execute the project's Communication & Publicity Plan.
  • Coordinate the joint marketing and enrolment campaign to attract the first cohort of 50 trainees (launching May 2026).
  • Manage the project's branding and co-branding policy across all materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational partners.

Risk & Quality Assurance:
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks (e.g., funding delays, equipment clearance, accreditation bottlenecks).
  • Coordinate the logistics for the Technical Team Visit to China (June 2026) and the arrival of GTEE trainers in Ghana (October 2026).
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the quality standards set out in the proposal and agreement.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
Experience:
  •  Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or education/training sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with international partners.
  • Experience with procurement, logistics, and supply chain management is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) landscape in Ghana is a plus.

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills to manage relationships between public, private, and academic partners.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and presentations for the MD and the TWG.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and developing practical solutions.
  • Technical Acumen: A willingness to learn and understand the fundamentals of EV charging infrastructure, solar integration, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Direct Report: Managing Director
  • Key Interfaces: Tripartite Working Group (ECG, PU, Alveus), ECG Finance & Legal Depts., Pentecost University Accreditation Office, ZDWL/GTEE Representatives.

Salary and Benefits
  • Salary Range: GH₵ 7,500 – GH₵ 9,000 per month (gross), commensurate with qualifications and experience. This range reflects the seniority of the role, the immediate start requirement, and the direct accountability to the Managing Director for the successful delivery of this high-profile project.
  • Benefits: Negotiable, will include medical insurance cover, official mode of transport, communication allowance, and yearly performance-related bonus.


Location: Accra / Tema, with travel to project sites (e.g., ECG Training School, Tema, Pentecost University)

Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based (initial 3 months’ probation period)
