The Role
Liquify is looking for a Sales & Operations Associate to join our sales team as we scale the business and support SME exporters in accessing much-needed working capital. This role is a unique opportunity to drive user growth.
At Liquify, we connect SMEs—traditionally excluded from working capital financing—with global capital markets. Our ambition is to close the $1 trillion SME trade financing gap, unlocking economic growth and creating a more equitable financial ecosystem.

- Built V1 version of our platform
- Grew a pipeline of receivables worth $9m, financing $1.5m to date
- Secured seed funding following 2023 pre-seed funding led by Techstars
- Established an industry leading team
- Increased our customers revenue by 20%+
What You’ll Do
- Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential SME exporters who would benefit from Liquify’s factoring solutions
- Drive sales and support lead generation efforts, including research, outreach, and follow-ups
- Conduct platform demos, manage client onboarding, guiding businesses through Liquify’s platform and funding process and provide exceptional customer supports
- Visit client sites and factories to build relationships, and assess operational needs
- Track key operational metrics, generate reports, and collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows
- Gather insights from SMEs to improve Liquify’s processes and user experience
- Work closely with the CCO to convert leads into active Liquify users
What We’re Looking For
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales, operations, or customer success
- Experience in fintech, trade finance, or SME lending is a plus
- Highly organised as you will need to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for on-site client visits and operational assessments (in Ghana and potentially abroad)
- A problem-solver who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to drive change
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with business owners and stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set
- English proficiency in reading and writing; local languages are a plus
