Job Summary
FAWE Ghana is seeking to hire a highly motivated Programme Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day planning and implementing project activities, developing monthly reports, managing relationships with stakeholders, and cooperating with the project's technical team to ensure quality implementation.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Project Implementation:
- Coordinate and implement the projects activities and other events according to project requirements and workplans with the support of the Project Coordinator.
- Provide ongoing support to adolescents, youth groups, parent groups, religious and traditional groups in the generation of evidence for advocacy engagements at the local and national levels.
- Work with the Project Coordinator to train community champions, parent groups, caregivers, and other stakeholders to become leaders of SRHR promotion, GE, GBV prevention and response.
- Takes notes of regular team’s meetings for the project consortium group. Work with field officers to coordinate work activities, meet deadlines, and provide support where needed
Project Management
- Manage and monitor project budgets and disbursements, and work with the Project Coordinator and Finance team to develop accurate financial reports.
Data Collection and Reporting
- Collect and analyze data to monitor project success and make adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on project activities and submit to management.
- Maintain appropriate data on project implementation as per the project monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Develop and maintain an efficient filing system for the project team, including consultants and resource persons.
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations, and reporting timelines
Network & Collaboration
- Collaborate with consortium partners, team members and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Network with other organizations and agencies that will ensure future funding support and collaboration.
Training
- Provide capacity building support to field officers and other local partners.
Partnerships
- Establish and maintain a network of contacts with traditional authorities, MMDA’s, citizens, groups and community representatives in the programme districts
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Community Development or other relevant field of study (a Master degree will be an added advantage).
- Three years’ experience in program design and implementation, in a similar role, will be an added advantage preferably in an NGO setting.
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilization projects.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently
