Job Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s most important clients. This role involves building strong partnerships, understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and driving revenue growth. The KAM serves as the main point of contact for key clients and works cross-functionally to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Understand client needs and business objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to grow revenue.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, product).
  • Monitor account performance, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of services/products.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and attract new key accounts.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 3-5yrs proven experience in tech sales.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
