Company Description

African Diaspora Resource Centre (ADRC) helps members in the African Diaspora visit and relocate seamlessly back home to Ghana with a focus on education, community, and identity-restoration. Our goal is to support individuals in their journey of reconnecting with their roots and building a community in Ghana.

Role Description

This is an internship role for a Hospitality and Tourism Specialist at African Diaspora Resource Centre Ghana. The intern will be responsible for providing customer service, hospitality support, communication with clients, assisting homecoming diasporans to resettle into the country, providing support with housing accommodations for diaspora newly resettling in the country, and planning activities and programs for the diaspora to build community. This role requires on-site work in Adjiringanor.

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Experience in Hospitality and Tourism services
• Ability to provide excellent Hospitality Service
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting others
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid setting
• Knowledge of the tourism industry and cultural awareness
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field

A full-time role with ADRC is possible upon successful completion of the internship program. All interns will receive a letter of recommendation, resume enhancement support, and entry into our skills database for job-seekers, which is shared with diaspora business owners seeking to hire new talent.
